Jason Tassinari - Coaching Tennis and Refereeing Indoor Soccer
Jason Tassinari is a longstanding Massachusetts soccer and tennis coach who currently coaches the varsity girls’ tennis team at Wayland High School, where he received 2024 Coach of the Year honors from the Dual County League. He also assists the institution’s special education teacher. A National US Indoor Soccer Association referee at the Bridgewater Sports Complex, Jason Tassinari has reffed more than 10,000 games across 20 locations nationwide and helps train prospective referees each year.
Mr. Tassinari’s background includes a Division 3 role as head women’s soccer coach at Curry College. From 2012 to 2018, the team consistently qualified for Commonwealth Coast Conference competition. In 2019, he guided Bristol Community College women’s soccer team to a 12-3-1 overall record and a place in the Region 21 tournament finals.
Mr. Tassinari attended Bridgewater State College, where he was captain of the men’s Division 3 soccer team his senior year. Upon graduating, he served as assistant coach with the institution for a year, leading the team to a 12-3-4 overall record. Jason Tassinari next served as head men's soccer coach at Stonehill College in Easton, where he led the Division 2 squad as fourth seed to the 1999 Northeast-10 Conference Tournament.
